I'm finally back home after a road trip to Queensland and it feels great to be blogging again! As expected, another
monochromatic outfit with a slight twist. Although I tend to wear solid colours, patterns are a great way to experience change in taste.
In this case, a printed blouse like this creates an effortless look. I simply styled the top with my usual black bottoms and my
recent purchase and obsession, an oversized coat.
1) Printed Blouse by French Connection $69.95
2) Oversized Coat by David Lawrence $399
3) Bottoms by Forcast $69.99
Quote Of The Day - You're going to be in your own skin until you die. That's a while. You might as well get comfortable in it.

Gorgeous print. I'm not even a big fan of horses, but I'm such a fan of this blouse!

Funny you said this and it caught my blind side! I thought my top had a marble pattern all along until the day I shot this, I realised it was covered in horse print. I'm loving it too, especially worn with my favourite coat!

Thank you Alexandra! I had the same issue too! As a petite person, it's always hard to find a perfect long coat that doesn't make you look short. You will find your perfect coat!

Oh that is brilliant! The print is so fun and different. I have a vintage shirt with horses printed on it, it's a mustardy colour, I wish it was black and white!

Thank you Jenelle! I was never a print person until I purchased this top and it's definitely a fun print to style! Maybe because it was in black and white. Mustard? Not bad at all! You can work around with that!
